Description

Black Pomfret also known as Halwa, a seawater fish with a single bone. Found in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific ocean. It is well known for its sweet taste hence the name Halwa which means sweet treat in Gujarati. Perfect to either fry or steam.

Storage
We recommend fresh fish to be consumed straight away, or within 3 days. Store in your refrigerator and pack with ice if possible.
To freeze: place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and consume within 3 months.
